Brad Schmehl has provided the Society with the following information about an episode of a series entitled "Journeys of an Artist" to be broadcast on PBS in which he will be the featured artist. We all know Brad as Stonewall Jackson's (George Moor) adjutant during McDowell Battlefield Days as well as being the artist who painted "Reconnaissance at McDowell". All who know, have met, or only seen Brad during the reenactment weekend will look forward to seeing (and probably taping) this show.

I have an update on the new PBS series, Journeys of an Artist, one episode of which will exclusively feature yours truly (some of you know about this already, some are just finding out, and many have asked me when it will air): WPBS of Watertown, NY informs me that the show is set to air in early 2006, will be 13 episodes, and that my episode will be placed in the lineup, where exactly know one knows yet. Be watching your area PBS affiliate for info and details. I know that WPBS is doing advance promos because they obtained my permission to use my likeness in the ads (whether print or TV, I don't know, but I suspect both).   — Brad Schmehl
